And this time, I do mean business.

dA PARROT — Writer's Guidelines
We cover the news that is most neglected: the news that doesn’t actually happen. Look through our archives (linked at the bottom of every issue) and read at least a few pieces to get an idea of what we like: humor, fictional news events mostly—though reviews and interviews are welcome. For other types of submission, it's wise to query first.
The Parrot might accept your submission outright, express interest and request further effort on the piece, or thank you for the submission but decline publication.
We submit your article on our own page, with all credit to you, the writer. Several hyperlinks to your page will also be provided in the description of the piece.
Please bear in mind that we are centered in deviantART, the largest art community in the world. More specifically, we tend to operate within the literature galleries of devART ; many of our readers are writers themselves. Aiming an article toward this audience is acceptable, though writing for general interest is also fine.
Send a note with your query, writing sample, cracker, article idea, or proposed piece via e-mail to sittingdistance@juno.com
Note: as mentioned above, we will now publish reviews and interviews—all things comically written and/or related to our general light-hearted outlook are welcome. Please query if you're concerned about whether or not we'd be interested in your finished product-to-be.
